Three Simple (and free) SEO Tips

Maybe you’re not exactly knowledgeably in an area of Search Engine Optimization, but here are three simple SEO tips that you can get your website found even you suck at SEO.

I have met numerous people who have been struggling to increase traffic to their websites, so I suggested them to do some essential SEO parts. At that moment, I came to realization that they need to understand the depth of SEO so they can easily understand my suggestions. I’ve been reading several articles and I ended up liking this article. I want to share this with you guys.

Before you begin reading, SEO is essential to your start-up business or your blogs! Be sure to understand what I am talking about. If you don’t really understand, then please spare your time in learning more about SEO by surfing some articles or a website that has a good information.

Optimizing Your Page Title

All you need to do is to add Meta titles to your pages because it is designed to let search engine know that you are out here and you’re relevant for this keyword!

I promise you that every SEO expert will tell you that they will need to find what the relevant keywords for your site are. Honestly, you can do that on your own time. The best part is that you know it better than any consultants because you know your site.

Just do some research and discover what the most relevant keywords for your site are. You could look at competitor’s page titles. I highly insist you to focus on “long-tail” keywords, which involves phrase-like words and more specific to a particular topic such as three or four words. Long tail keywords convert better, so it is easier to rank for.

“Natural” Link Building

Everyone knows about link building. If you own website, you should know about it. It is all about getting other websites to link back to your site. How to do this is a big question because all methods and strategies have always changed in the past few years. The dangerous part about it is that if you do it incorrectly can actually hurt you.

Google’s algorithm has recently created in a way to detect unnatural links like certain paid links or overdone anchors texts, many more. This can get really complicated for a rookie SEO strategist, the point is, and links should not be forced. They should happen organically because this is more successful by getting good links has a lot to do with the content you created.

However, what are great ideas for natural link building? You can simply do writing guest posts on interesting blogs, social media activity (building followers), and associate yourself with other bloggers with relative interests. If your blog is interesting and related to topic bloggers care about, the chances are, and they will want to talk about you.

Fascinate with Content

More than just writing content on other blogs, you also need to write interesting content on your website. In the old days, writing content on your website could include a bunch of nonsense and awful grammar. As long as the keywords are in there, so you would have good rankings on search engines. Those days are gone. Today, it is all about creating fascinating content.

You could do some info graphics to video blogs to inspirational stories; you have to put yourself out there. Say something so bold! Write about things that people want to know or care about. Share an inspirational image. Make your audience laugh, cry, amazed, or whatever it is that makes them want to read your blogs more or share your blog links on their sites. I believe you should start with a daily blog, build your followers, and then blend in your ecommerce-shopping cart onto your site.

Once you get these three points down, you should start noticing an increase in traffic, a deeper interest in your products, which should transfer into sales later. From there, you will generate revenue enough to afford some strategies or someone who knows how to keep increasing traffic in the future.
